This and That...

We went to see the last Harry Potter movie this afternoon.  Wow.  I'm still thinking about it and it's over 3 hours later.  I haven't read any of the books, so I had no idea what was coming.  It's one of those movies that once it comes out on dvd, I'll watch it a few more times to make sure I see everything.  I think it was really well made and it's one of the few movies that the audience actually clapped not once, but twice during it - that doesn't happen too often.

That being said, I'm going to post a photo that I took earlier this week.  It's from the community garden.  It's a pumpkin leaf (or leaves).  What amazes me about it is the size.  The leaf in the center is over a foot wide.  Imagine that, from a small non-descript seed comes this huge leaf - along with the vine, other leaves and eventual pumpkin!!  Amazing.

This is one of the reasons I love gardening - the start from a seed and get this huge plant 'magic' kind of stuff, leaves me in awe really.  The awe that a kid gets when she first figures something out or sees something she's never seen before, yea, that kind of wonderment.  It does the soul good.
