Garden blues...

It always cracks me up when I read or hear about certain flowers being blue in color.  Usually they look like a shade of purple and not a true blue.  So I walked around the flowers tonight seeing how everything made it through the high winds & rain storm we had this morning.  Apparently we didn't get it as badly as a lot of areas around us.

I have this hydrangea blooming right now and it's the closest thing to blue I have in my garden.

Love this!  It's in a shady spot, so I think the flash was involved which heightens the color of the flower.
