A day late....

Oh well says I - yesterday was a busy day.  The momster's stay was over and we needed to head back north to bring her home and then for all of us to head over to Dawn's brother's home to visit for a bit.

And I just realized that I didn't do a 'Flashback Friday' post this past week - guess I need to leave myself a note to do that this week! lol

So before we left the house, I went out into the gardens and cut a bunch of flowers to bring to my sister-in-law since she & the brother-in-law were hosting this little get together.

 

I realized as I was cutting the flowers that I have a lot of yellows in my garden!  Not that this is a bad thing, just that there are quite a few flowers blooming right now in different shades of yellow.  In this bouquet there are day lilies, Asiatic lilies, daisies and some prairie flowers.  A nice & cheery bunch of flowers, and they survived the trip north just fine.

It's always wonderful to be able to spend some time with Dawn's family.  We always have something to talk about and the nieces are growing so fast!  It fills me with joy to be able to see them grow, watching each of their personalities take shape.
