Pride month...

June is pride month for the lesbian, gay, bisexual & transgender community - so I'm going to celebrate it by sharing photos from last Friday night, which was our lgbt center's annual pride event.

This photo is of the mistress of ceremonies, Dymond Denae.  I just loved this outfit!  Undoubtedly she created it herself. (But since I don't know for sure, one of these days I'll try to remember to send her an email and ask her.)

And the hair, love the hair!  I love drag queens!  Besides, by honoring today's drag queens, I feel as if we are also honoring all those brave, lesbian, gays, bi's, transgender & drag queens who stood up against the cops at Stonewall back in 1969.
