And back to drag queens...

Last Friday night was our Pride event for our area.  We hold it in a wonderful theater, truly a great space in the southern part of the county so that 1) we included the LGBT community that lives in that area & 2) it's a great venue - they have a bar in the theater, so we don't have to get a liquor license and mess with all that goes on with serving liquor.  We also card at the door and put wristbands on those over 21 so the bartenders don't have to worry about it.  Win/win for everyone.

I shot over 270 photos Friday night and post over 90 of them.  It took me about two evenings to get through all the photos -editing, putting my name on them, erasing red eye, etc. Since I went through all that work, I thought I would highlight some of my favorite shots from that evening.

Even though she's lip synching (most drag queens do), she's really into it, she looks fierce here.  It's somewhat of an action shot, stopping her motion as she dances on the stage.  And those boots - holy shit!  I don't know how she did it, but she danced like crazy without tripping in those boots.  Yep, one of the most favorite shots of the night.
