Poof, it's magic, or...

someone has been working their butts off at my workplace! 

What you are looking at is almost a day's worth of backbreaking labor in the back of my workplace.  We rent the space on the first floor for our non-profit, but the owner of the property doesn't keep the back up, so the weeds were really tall, the wooden fence wasn't sturdy, so forth & so on.

So this one young man, J took it upon himself to clean up the area and boy did he ever!  I think it's going to look great once he's done.  (I know he had some help, but he was there all day working at it.) 

A couple of weeks ago I was bummed because I was having a hard time getting people to volunteer for some events.  Last Friday night we had some awesome volunteers helping with our fundraiser & now today this young man did all this work out back.  What a fantastic way to start summer!
