Take a walk...
Thank you everyone for your positive responses to yesterday photo blog!! I think that one is a definite keeper!
I'm finding that it's hard to shoot something every day. Yesterday I went out to shoot photos, lots of photos. I drove all over the county with our dog, looking for places that inspired me. To give you an idea, I shot over 150 photos yesterday. Now granted, most of them won't make the cut, let alone ever show up in a matte & frame! (And thank the goddess for digital!!) I visited an abandoned farm, a couple of beaches, a vineyard, a house where only the front steps and part of the foundation were left and a couple of dead end roads.
Here is one of the beach shots that I shot in color but knew that I was going to change it to black & white once I got home.
I think I may have to tweak this one yet, as it feels to me that it's missing something. I have noticed that I have a 'thing' for paths, roads, steps that lead to somewhere unknown.
Enjoy the trip!

Oh, I like this one. But like you, I too have a thing for paths leading off to wherever.
ReplyDeleteVery nice!
Thanks Alise! I appreciate you stopping by & leaving a comment. I'm with you, there is something intriguing about paths that lead to 'somewhere'. Hugs
