I'm a little late getting to this for 10/2/11, but I have a good excuse of being outside all afternoon and then spending the evening with friends.  Doesn't get much better than that, I'd say.
Here's photo of the branches that we got out of the tree today:

Leaves & tree parts all over the backyard.

This is the start of the bundles of branches and bags of leaf debris - by the time we got done, that whole corner was filled up.  Now to drag it all to the road for pickup this week.
