Fire pretty...
On Sunday, as some of you know, we spent the afternoon cleaning up a bunch of tree debris from the high winds we had towards the end of last week.
We have a small metal fire pit and unfortunately we don't use it as much as I would like to. But Sunday was a great day for it, sunny & brisk weather, slight breeze, it doesn't get much better so I set it up and got it burning!
I'm a bit of a pyro from way back, remind me to tell you the story about starting the 4 acres on fire behind the home where I grew up in.
Check out that blazing fire! And look at all that tree debris behind it - so while cleaning up I burned a bunch of seasoned wood we had and started a pile of new stuff to dry out.
Of course Missy, aka, Weather Dog worked really hard all afternoon, mostly trying to avoid the smoke. :-)
