Different fall colors...

I had to drive about a 1/2 hour north to go to a friend's home and get some plants for another friend.  I took the dog with me, it was a perfect day for a drive.  The colors were wonderful.  We got the plants in the car (not easy mind you, it was a huge root ball my friend dug out of her garden.)

Like most gardens around here, most things are done blooming. However, even my roses are still blooming.  And my friend's garden had a couple of things that were blooming and holding their brilliant color.

This is one of the plants that caught my eye.

Amazing, isn't it?
