A two for one...
Happy September!! And what the hell happened to August??? If you find out what happened to August, please let me know.
So today I was able to get a couple of photos, but I wasn't sure which one to pick, so I'm going to show you both of them that I like today.
The first one is our friend Rich. I had posted on facebook that I had a couple of watermelons from the community garden at work today, so he stopped by to pick his up.
Of course, we got to talking and joking around and next thing you know, this happens:
Of course we had to name it Wilson! (Points if you know the reference...)
The next one I shot about 45 minutes ago, so around 11pm. Missy suddenly started barking, only I know this bark, it's the "something is up the tree and I need to get/chase/eat it" bark. I still have flip flops on, so out I go into the backyard that is the dog's domain (trying to avoid all doggie land mines) with our flashlight. Yep, something was treed.
Nope, didn't name this one. The last one that Missy had, I named Lazarus since after I got her to drop it, it was able to raise itself from the dead by the next morning.
Also, this one pretty much was in the same position from the time I got the dog into the house till the time I got back out there with my camera. Hope you have enjoyed this wildlife moment.
